This place was just what we needed for our Christmas getaway! The cabins were clean and well-designed, and we loved the option of using the pull-down bed. The location was fantastic, right next to the canal, and we enjoyed a leisurely walk into the city along the beautiful canal and riverside. We even stumbled upon the Eden Court theatre and their 'Under Canvas' festival, which was a delightful surprise. The decked area with bench seating was perfect for relaxing, even when it rained. We left wishing we had booked a longer stay!

While our stay was overall enjoyable, there were a few minor drawbacks. there could have been a bit more of the day-to-day products provided, like toilet roll and bin bags.

Stayed in a lovely lodge, enjoyed the Swiss, German, French and UK mix. Great location for walking along the canal to the city. Food stall at entrance and covered decking area. Wish I had booked a longer stay!

Oh, how I adored being constantly bothered by emails from the rental management. The owner couldn't care less about speaking to customers.

The location was amazing, right next to the beautiful Caledonian Canal. The kids had so much fun exploring the area and we enjoyed leisurely walks along the canal. The on-site staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The lodge itself was clean, compact, and well-designed, with a lovely decking area for us to relax on. We will definitely be back!

For dads, it would be great if the lodge had a BBQ.

We had a lovely stay at Caledonian Lodges 1. the cabin we stayed in was clean and compact, with a well, designed layout. the pull, down bed was a great option for us, as the mezzanine was a bit challenging. I can imagine that kids would absolutely love it. the location of the lodges is superb, right next to the beautiful Caledonian Canal. We enjoyed a leisurely 30, minute walk into the city along the canal and riverside, which was truly delightful. Along the way, we stopped at Eden Court theatre for a delicious lunch and even had the chance to enjoy some great folk bands at their 'Under Canvas' festival. the cabin also had a lovely decking area with covered bench seating, perfect for those occasional rain showers in Scotland. We left wishing we had booked a longer stay and we will definitely be returning, even though it's a 3, hour drive for us. Cons: No issues. 👍.

The room at Caledonian Lodges 1 Inverness was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a budget traveler like me. I immediately felt at home with the warm decor and soft furnishings. The TV with digital channels was a great bonus for some downtime.

Personally, I found the shared bathrooms a bit inconvenient, but I understand that others might not mind.
